Sicily – A Cultural Mosaic

Where else do you see images like this one?

Just returned from a week scouting out the best of the best in Sicily. Ragusa Ibla (pictured — the “old town” of this Baroque jewel) was just one of the stops. Our Splendors of Sicily trip in May 2015 includes a night in this fairy tale town. Ragusa’s San Giorgio cathedral is imposing from many angles, yet the facade looks as delicate as a thin piece of paper from the side. We’ll stay in the 10-room Locanda Don Serafino, with preferred access to the Locanda’s 2-star Michelin restaurant for the gourmets in the crowd. There is some very interesting pottery being created here too….
