Lose yourself for a week in Tuscany with Adagio Travel’s intrepid owner Claudia. Our activities will be complemented by twice daily gentle yoga opportunities led by accomplished yoga instructor Lynn! What this trip will NOT be is rushing around, trying to complete a “Tuscany to-do” list. What it WILL be instead is slowing down to become acquainted with a stunning, less busy corner of a famous and popular region. Each day will balance exploration and experience with time to reconnect with yourself and the other guests during intentional “downtimes”, including daily optional yoga sessions that are appropriate for all levels; beginners are welcome. Breathe in, breathe out. Allow all aspects of the beauty of Tuscany to imprint you with joy, laughter and rich memories.
Soak in the true Tuscan experience: start with a Renaissance immersion, two days of art and inspiration with our private guides in unparalleled Florence, Italy. Then move to southern Tuscany, where a romantic medieval country relais nestles, our home for the week.

We’ll visit and dine in a nearby organic winery; marvel over the secrets of Tuscan cheese-making; shop the local markets; and enjoy daily breakfast and several dinners prepared in-house by our personal chef, using our estate’s olive oil. Other highlights will include a privately-guided immersion into a fascinating art garden created in honor of a French-born, American-raised sculptress who fell in love with this corner of the world; Niki de St Phalle has been called ‘Rebellious, complex, iconoclastic, collaborative, trailblazing’; and we will visit the Tarot Garden, her monumental life’s work.
The day ends in a seaside town along the crowd-free Mediterranean coast of Tuscany. On our last day, we’ll visit the fascinating medieval town of Siena (a UNESCO site), learning of its famous wild and wooly annual horse races around the city square.

Our guide for the easygoing optional morning and afternoon yoga sessions while we’re in the countryside is Lynn Gittelman. With over 25 years of yoga practice and 2½ years as a certified instructor, Lynn teaches various class formats (Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin), blending her love of music and dance with breathwork and mindfulness. She creates inclusive practices for all levels. On this Italian journey, she’s excited to guide daily yoga sessions that complement the beauty and pace of travel while helping guests feel balanced, inspired, and connected throughout their adventure. The yoga sessions are completely optional but provide a beautiful value-added during our stay in the countryside.
